Email subject: Fake emails from senior staff

These emails will simply begin "are you busy" or "are you on campus" or "I am in a meeting, please reply".

They appear to come from senior staff at the University, but they are actually criminals.

If you reply, you will begin a conversation with criminals who will ask you to send money or buy vouchers.  They will say it's urgent and they can be quite convincing.

Please look out for these.  If you're not sure, try to contact the member of staff via a different route.  Alternatively, contact the IT Service Desk.
