Discounts and benefits

As a former ßÏßÏÊÓƵ student, you are entitled to a range of benefits including: ongoing careers support, invitations to academic and social events, access to the Library and special rates for our Sports Centre and accommodation in the local area.

As an alum, you can benefit on discounts on postgraduate study. 

The ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Alumni Award offers a tuition fee reduction to previous ßÏßÏÊÓƵ students choosing to return to study a full-time Masters degree.

The ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Graduate Scholarship offers a tuition fee reduction to ßÏßÏÊÓƵ graduates with a First Class or Upper Second Class Bachelors degree, progressing directly to a relevant Masters in September 2025. 

The Chancellor's Masters Scholarships are available for First Class graduates from institutions in the UK or Ireland. There are only 100 scholarships available, so there is a competitive application process.

Alumni are also eligible for a 20% discount on our online Masters courses.

The Institute of Development Studies also offer a 20% discount to any ßÏßÏÊÓƵ alumni for the following short courses:

We also send out a with the latest research, events and alumni news as well as our annual publication, Falmer, which you can choose to receive in hard copy or electronic form.
