Global Engagement invites colleagues to apply for the prestigious European Partnership Development Fellowship (EPDF), an excellent opportunity for academic and professional services staff to embark on a transformative journey of collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The EPDF is designed to connect like-minded researchers, teachers, and professionals from ßÏßÏÊÓƵ and selected European universities in a dynamic and stimulating interdisciplinary environment. This initiative not only enriches personal and institutional international networks but also plays a pivotal role in contributing to international development at both ßÏßÏÊÓƵ and partner institutions.
If you're passionate about fostering collaborative research, enhancing your teaching skills, and expanding your professional network, the EPDF is your gateway. We are seeking individuals from across the university to apply for funding to support their work with European partners. There is no minimum employment requirement, making this an inclusive opportunity for all qualified candidates.
The fellowship aims to achieve tangible outcomes within a year, including publications, grant applications, joint workshops, as well as mobility or teaching opportunities.
Current partner institutions include Aarhus University, Charles University, KU Leuven, University of Bologna, University of Strasbourg, and University of Warsaw. These partners have been carefully chosen based on their exceptional reputation and commitment to fostering collaborative engagement.
As a Fellow, you'll actively contribute to the academic life of the host institution, gaining a unique perspective and building lasting connections. Whether you're hosting an Inbound Visiting Fellow (coming to ßÏßÏÊÓƵ) or are an Outbound Visiting Fellow (ßÏßÏÊÓƵ staff visiting a partner), this is your chance to take a lead role in planning and coordinating a transformative visit.
Applications for the EPDF are accepted on a rolling basis. ßÏßÏÊÓƵ staff members are encouraged to lead the way by nominating Inbound Visiting Fellows, while Outbound Visiting Fellows should secure support from their partner institution.
Apply now by visiting the EPDF webpage and downloading the application form. Further information can also be found in the EPDF specification and any queries about the European Partnership Development Fellowship can be directed to Louise Duthie, our Global Partnerships Manager, at L.A.Duthie@sussex.ac.uk .
