The Centre of Excellence ßÏßÏÊÓƵ AI hosted its first AI Day on Monday 17 June, where we celebrated the AI research happening at the Sussex. The symposium was a fantastic opportunity to delve into cutting-edge research, network with Colleagues, and explore innovative solutions that are shaping the future of AI.
We are extremely grateful to the diverse set of speakers and poster presenters, and of course our keynote speaker Professor Karl Friston who gave us a thought provoking talk on predictive coding. Massive congratulations to our talk (Giles Winchester and Romy Beauté) and poster (Sophie Johnson, Dexter Shepherd, Maryam Gholampour and Zainab Aizaz) prize winners!
The most important thing about such internal research events is the new conversations and collaboration that emerge and we hope to hear more about where these lead over the coming months!
