Make sure that the data projector is definitely powered on and that you have allowed it time to warm up. Is light coming from the lens?
Consult the room instructions to ensure that the projector is switched to the correct source - for example Data or PC.
Many units have an Projector Mute or Image blank option on the Extron control panel, check that this option is not on.
