Android devices can connect to the University's mail system to allow you to read or send e-mail.
To get the best functionality from your email, you should connect to an Exchange server. However, this requires that you put a passcode on your device if you don't already have one. This is to protect your emails from unauthorised access.
There are a number of different versions of Android, so the process for setting up email can be slightly different depending on the one being used. The following instructions are for a device running Android 5.0 lollipop. If you need any further help, you can pop along to Shawcross between 9am and 7pm, Monday to Friday in term time and an advisor will assist.
