ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Mobile is based on a service called CampusM which doesn't currently include this extra functionality although we've asked the manufacturers to consider including it in the future. In the meantime, this means it's not possible to download files when using services such as Study Direct or Email in the Android App.
Use the web app instead
However, you can get around this problem by using the web app on Android instead. The web app offers all the same functionality as the native version and you can add it as an icon to the home screen on your device:
