Configure WebDrive to connect to your ßÏßÏÊÓƵ OneDrive account


We recommend that you use the OneDrive client to synchronise with your ßÏßÏÊÓƵ OneDrive account.

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Webdrive > Webdrive
  2. Click New
  3. Choose OneDrive Business and click Next
  4. Copy and paste this address into the into the text box: https://universityofsussex-my.sharepoint.com
  5. Click the 'Login to OneDrive Business'
  6. Enter your ßÏßÏÊÓƵ username followed by @sussex.ac.uk
  7. Enter your password, and click Sign In (do NOT press enter on your keyboard)
  8. Now go back to Webdrive and click Advanced Settings
  9. On the left, click Basic File Settings
  10. Ensure Cache temporary MS Office files is selected
  11. On the left click Basic Cache Settings
  12. Untick Inherit global cache settings
  13. Select Custom under Cache Mode
  14. Tick Cache Files
  15. Tick Validate cached files with server modified time
  16. Tick Cache Directory Listings
  17. Tick Expire cached listings after (x) seconds
  18. Enter 300 in box
  19. Click OK
  20. Click Next
  21. Choose a name for your OneDrive site
  22. Choose an available drive letter
  23. Select Connect at login/startup to automatically connect to OneDrive when you login
  24. Click Connect Now
