Can I log in to the Chrome browser?

If you use Chrome, IT Services recommends that you sign in using your ßÏßÏÊÓƵ credentials.

To sign in to Chrome, look for the user icon in the top right hand corner.  You will not need to create an account, simply sign in with your username@sussex.ac.uk (for example, ano123@sussex.ac.uk) and your normal ßÏßÏÊÓƵ password.

This gives you two main benefits:

  1. If you work on several Windows 10 computers, your Chrome settings won't follow you between computers.  However, if you lsign in to Chrome with your ßÏßÏÊÓƵ account, you'll be able to see all your bookmarks, history etc.
  2. All your bookmarks, passwords, history and personalised settings in Chrome are backed up to the cloud when you sign in.  This means that if you ever lose data (for example, because of a hardware failure), all this information will be kept safe.

If you need to log out again, please use .
