How can I increase the font size in my browser if I am having trouble reading the text on a web page?

Please note that browser text zooming may not always work, as some web page authors specify an exact font-size using pixels or points, which the browser is unable to alter (such coding practice should be discouraged, as pages produced in this manner can be less accessible to the end user).

To increase (or decrease) the font size when viewing a web page there is usually a Zoom option in the menus, the precise location of which varies depending upon the browser being used (often found under View or Tools).

Some browsers allow you to magnify the page itself, not just the text.
