Okta Single Sign-On

The ßÏßÏÊÓƵ uses Okta, an identity management platform, to allow users to log in to systems and software securely, safely and quickly.

Single Sign-On

Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) is a user authentication tool that enables users to securely access multiple applications and services using just one set of credentials.

All you need to do to use SSO is enter your ßÏßÏÊÓƵ IT credentials (e.g. ano123@sussex.ac.uk) and password when prompted.

If it is your first time logging in through Okta SSO you will also be asked to create a security question.

Applications

From Monday 29 July 2024 all users will be required to log in through SSO to access all of the following applications:

  • Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive etc)
  • Canvas
  • Panopto
  • Zoom
  • Box
  • ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Direct
  • ITS Support Portal
  • LearnUpon
  • Jira
  • Raisers Edge
  • *This list is not exhaustive - you may find that other apps also require SSO log-in to access.
