ßÏßÏÊÓƵ AI had its official launch on campus on Thursday 1 February, and what a great event it was!
With more than 250 participants, including our Vice Chancellor () and Provost (), we had academic colleagues and talented PhD candidates from right across the University, as well as representatives from many companies.
With a few short talks and over 50 posters and demonstrations prepared by ßÏßÏÊÓƵ AI staff and students from different Schools, this was a fantastic networking opportunity for all attendees. We have heard of many new connections being made and are looking forward to many fruitful future projects.
With so many excellent posters and demos highlighting the diverse range of research conducted within ßÏßÏÊÓƵ AI it was difficult to pick stand-out candidates for prizes. However, eventually the winners of the competition for best posters and demos were:
Steve Symons (Best Demo)
(Commendable Demo)
(Commendable Demo)
(Best Poster)
(Commendable Poster)
Naomi 'Nay' Newman (Commendable Poster)
Zainab Aizaz (Commendable Poster)
(Commendable Poster)
Congratulations to you all!
We would like to thank all our sponsors for their generous contributions. Special thanks to our Gold Sponsors, who provided prizes for the best posters and demos: ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Tech Week, , , and . Thanks also go to our Silver Sponsors: , Astute AI, CASM Technology, , and .
