ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Global Engagement and Mahidol’s Global Partnerships Division are excited to announce the launch of Round Two of the Mahidol ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Seed Fund, a collaborative initiative with Thailand’s Mahidol University. The scheme, that launches today, Monday, 23rd September 2024, will focus on building research collaborations between Mahidol researchers and ßÏßÏÊÓƵ’s Centres of Excellence (CoEs).
Designed to enhance strategic partnerships, the Seed Fund provides financial support for projects addressing global challenges. Jointly funded grants of up to £20,000 are available for three projects. Supported activities include:
The fund covers costs such as travel, accommodation, and equipment, enabling successful projects to grow over the course of one year.
Eligible applicants include all academic faculty and professional services staff from ßÏßÏÊÓƵ CoEs, as well as Mahidol researchers from any discipline. While students and PhDs cannot apply directly, their involvement in proposals is encouraged. This round encourages applications from a wide range of research areas, particularly those aligned with the Centres of Excellence.
ßÏßÏÊÓƵ’s partnership with Mahidol University, one of Thailand’s top institutions, is strategically designed to bolster international research capacity. With strengths in biotechnology, medical sciences, and environmental research, Mahidol offers an ideal partnership for cutting-edge research collaboration.
