Shaping our future

Our new 10-year strategic plan was crafted with input from University leadership, faculty, staff and, crucially, our many alumni around the world, who contributed through open forums and an online survey.

The ßÏßÏÊÓƵ 2035 strategy has been approved by Council and the survey is now closed. Thank you to all our alumni who took the time to share their views and help shape the future of Sussex.

Support global rankings

Worldwide university rankings programmes like QS and the Financial Times use data from a variety of surveys, in combination with other factors, to determine how highly universities rank compared to one another. Depending on the career path you’ve taken since graduation, you may have the opportunity to help shape global rankings by sharing your views.

QS Employer Survey

QS Academic Survey

Business School ranked courses

Several postgraduate courses within the ßÏßÏÊÓƵ Business School receive individual subject rankings from QS. If you are a graduate of one of these ranked courses, you will be contacted by the Alumni Relations team six months after you complete your course to provide your employment details.

These surveys are important for your course’s QS ranking, and we need a certain level of participation for the data to be accepted. This means it’s important that you complete this survey when you receive it.

If you are an MSc Management graduate, you may also be contacted by the Financial Times three years after you complete your course with their own ranking survey. In addition to improving your course’s global rank, participating will also grant you two months’ free FT.com subscription, courtesy of the Financial Times.
