SoCoBio - South Coast Bioscences DTP
Welcome to the South Coast Biosciences DTP (SoCoBio) at the Sussex. 
is a Doctoral Training  Partnership lead by the University of Southampton partnered with the , , ßÏßÏÊÓƵ and . It is funded by the (BBSRC) part of UKRI (UK Research and Innovation).
As a SoCoBio researcher, your training programme will include:
- Two lab rotations with different supervisors (1st year)
- Data Management training (1st year)
- Business and Entrepreneurship summer school (1st year)
- Industrial Biotechnology summer school (2nd year)
- Science Communication summer school (3rd year)
- A three-month placement outside academia (“PIPS”)
- Opportunities to present your research at an annual conference
