About the Research Culture awards
The Research Culture Awards were established in 2023 to celebrate the incredible work and research happening at the University.
They’re just one of the many ways we’re shining a light on those developing and implementing great ideas and new ways of working. We want to recognise those that make a difference to how we do research at Sussex.
Alongside these accolades, our long-running recognise, reward and celebrate ßÏßÏÊÓƵ colleagues who have created, led or supported outstanding real-world impact.
Awards are for contributions from any discipline and across the research community, with categories for academics at all levels, Early Career Researchers and Professional Services staff.
How we reward success
Researchers who enter our awards can win a range of prizes and opportunities to showcase their accomplishments.
Winners receive:
- a financial prize to develop their capability, or further their research, impact and knowledge exchange plans
- an electronic badge to share their success more widely
- a short talking-head video about their Award and the activity it was given for.
