With over 1,000 paid jobs on campus and many opportunities for part-time work in Brighton & Hove, we help you to gain experience and boost your finances alongside your degree.

To find a job, you can:

  • read about  on our Student Hub
  • attend our Student Jobs and Volunteering Fair at the start of the autumn term to connect with employers who recruit students for part-time work
  • sign up with our partner agency, Reed Recruitment.

Become a Student Connector

Help to improve the student experience at ßÏßÏÊÓƵ by becoming a Student Connector. You'll get to collaborate with staff and students across the University while developing skills in research, event planning and time management.

We offer a range of paid, flexible roles lasting from a few weeks up to a full academic year. 

The role involves:

  • developing a new student experience event
  • advising on careers support
  • improving inclusivity for specific communities.

Become a Student Ambassador

Represent ßÏßÏÊÓƵ and welcome our prospective students to campus. You'll get to work at a variety of University events and develop skills in communication, public speaking and team working. 

The role involves:

  • presenting in front of prospective students on subjects such as student life, student finance and apllying to university
  • giving housing tours
  • creating content for our website or social media
  • answering questions from prospective students through our Unibuddy platform.
