You’ll be introduced to library and IT resources, along with approaches to collaborative and independent learning to prepare for your studies throughout the programme.
This module bridges the transition from previous study or work to the type of learning needed at the higher education level within a professionally qualifying social work programme. Face-to-face teaching is complemented by engaging online tools and activities that cover relevant content and introduce you to new skills and techniques in a supportive environment.
The process-oriented approach of this module aims to develop positive relationships within your learning group, helping you build connections that will support your work together for the rest of the degree.
