Business Strategy Report (N1079)
15 credits, Level 6
Spring teaching
This module provides the opportunity for students to report on the strategic position of a commercial business of their choice. The work requires and develops independent analytical, research and reasoning ability, and demands excellent levels of clarity in written English. It brings together the skills, techniques and information you have learned during your course, and asks you to apply them via an extended research project on a real-life business.
Your role is to identify a business that is facing serious strategic/competitive problems, research and analyse the nature and origin of these problems, and make proposals over a 5 year period to address these, presented in the form of a commercial report, similar in form to those that you may undertake after you graduate.

However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
