Making Music Theatre (W3100)

15 credits, Level 4

Spring teaching

The module observes and encourages the idea that a composer can now work across a spectrum of compositional canvasses - the auditory experience, composed theatre, work in the auditorium, in site specifics, in augmented reality, in adaptive music. In Year 1, you will be introduced to current practice across a range of forms, and its roots in key recent historic forbears. Each week you will make and present practical micro-exercises (creative tasks) in response to each area.
