Immigration & Asylum Law (M3083)
15 credits, Level 6
Autumn teaching
We aim to offer you the opportunity to become more familiar with the legal and policy frameworks governing migration at an international, regional and domestic level. The module will help you understand how the United Nations, European Union, Council of Europe and UK authorities govern migration, through a range of tools.
The module will combine the legal analysis of legislation and case law with the contextual analysis of migratory trends at a global level and broader theoretical, ethical, normative and political debates regarding human rights, security and solidarity.
