Spring teaching
In this module, you'll build on the practical and conceptual skills gained on the ‘Writing the Short Film’ module.
You will focus on the creation of a narrative media project, while expanding your knowledge of the theories and practices common to the relevant medium.
You will enhance your understanding of key processes and techniques. Learning to research in depth, you’ll draw on a range of sources and translate your research into an appropriate visual and/or aural form. This will allow you to demonstrate your critical awareness of the subject and the genre.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 33 hours of contact time and about 267 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
