I am involved in the following research activities:

·         Technologically Active Subsidiaries and FDI-related spillovers in Industrialising countries: Evidence from Argentina, India, Brazil, and China”. ESRC, February 2008- July 2009

·         Innovative Capability Building, Learning Mechanisms, Outcomes, and Institutional     Frameworks in Natural Resource-related and Process-Intensive Industries in Emerging Economies: Evidence from and Comparative Analyses of Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. IDRC, August 2009 - March 2011 (co-ordinated by Dr. Paulo Figueiredo, Getulio Vargas Business School, Brazil)

·         "La Vision: Using the Latin American natural resource endowment as a platform to leap forward with the next technological revolution". This project intends to gather and organize relevant existing knowledge, generate new knowledge and set up the appropriate networks, instruments and systems to serve the needs of researchers and policy makers in Latin America.

·         The internationalization process of emerging economies, (PRIN, Italy) (co-ordinated by Prof. Roberta Rabellotti, Università del Piemonte Orientale, Italy

·         The "Catchup Network": The catch-up network involves a sizeable collection of scholars, from many countries, who view the economic development process as involving innovation in an essential way.
